Here you will find answers to some of the most common questions that we receive.

Can I ride on event days?    ^ Back To Questions
No. On event days the entire trial system is closed to all riders.

When is the park open?

Our park and trail system is open 7 days a week. Quiet time starts at 9 p.m. every night. No off-road motors should be running after this time.

Can I ride at night?

Yes you may ride at night, however please use extra caution when doing so. It is advised to come explore the park during the day before you take on a night ride. Remember that quite time starts at 9 p.m. Not motors running after this time.

Do I have to sign a waiver even if I don't ride?

Yes! All persons entering into the park must sign the waiver.
 
Can I bring guest?   ^ Back To Questions
No. The Meridian OHV Park dose not allow guest riders and all riders on the property must sign a release waiver and join the Meridian Motorcycle Association.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. But all pets must remain on a leash.

Are there any good restaurants/stores/motels nearby?

Yes. The Meridian OHV Park is just minutes away from the Bonita Lakes Mall, Wal-Mart, Lowes, and many fast food or “sit-down” restaurants. Visit our

How do I know when you are having a special event, work day or ride?

Aside form our website the MMA has the MMA Member Mail newsletter. This newsletter is sent to all MMA Members every 3 months. This newsletter informs all MMA members of upcoming events and happenings at the Meridian OHV Park.

Do you allow camping?

Yes. Camping is allowed in the parking area only. NO CAMPING ON THE TRAIL SYSTEM!
 
Do you have RV sites?   ^ Back To Questions
No. The parking area is without water or electricity.  RV camping is allowed so bring your generator along. There is not charge for camping.
 
Can I burn a fire?   ^ Back To Questions
Yes. Camp fires are allowed in the parking area but must not be left to burn unattended. All fires must be completely extinguished before leaving the parking area.
 
What kinds of vehicles are allowed at the Meridian OHV Park?    ^ Back To Questions
ATVs, motorcycles, and side by sides (UTVs) are allowed. No vehicles or 4x4 trucks are permitted on the trails.
 
What type of races are held at The Meridian OHV Park?    ^ Back To Questions
The Meridian OHV Park host a number of race events. Such events include MC Hare Scrambles, MC Enduro races, and ATV poker runs.
 
Are the trails at the Meridian OHV Park marked?    ^ Back To Questions
Not at this time. Our trail system is undergoing some work with new signage for every trial. The Meridian OHV Park trail system will be marked with trail names which correspond with our park maps. Each trail will have a rating of easy, intermediate, and extreme. Also, our trail system will have loop signs that will help first time riders through our trails. This project should be completed by Summer 2009.
 
What food is available?    ^ Back To Questions
The Meridian OHV Park doses not have concessions but we do have a very large char-coal grill at the pavilion in the parking area. Bring you own food for a family cook out or there are tons of restaurants just down the road.
 
Are we allowed to fish in the lake?    ^ Back To Questions
Yes you are permitted to fish. Lakeview Reservoir is a public lake so bring your poles and catch your own lunch. Swimming is not permitted.
Can I ride on the road to access the Big Dirt Pit?    ^ Back To Questions
Yes. Please keep your speed low and use caution. No racing or playing while on the paved road. The road should only be ridden when accessing the Big Dirt Pit from the parking area.
